Personalized Wood Lake Maps - Custom Designed with Pyrography
Turn a contour map of your lake into beautiful decorative art for your wall!
It starts with the contour map of the lake of your choice. I will turn that lake map into a beautiful and unique pyrography wall hanging on a basswood round, large or medium, a canoe paddle, or a plywood panel, custom made just for you.

Order completion takes 2-4 weeks once I have the map in hand. Often, I can complete the lake map in one week. For birthdays or Christmas, please order as early as possible!
The FIRST thing to do is E Mail me with the STATE, COUNTY, AND CORRECT SPELLING of the lake you want.
After you order I will need the following information entered into "comments" on the shopping cart or emailed to me:
LETTERING -
What "family name" or saying do you want? Popular choices for a name are, for example, The Smiths, John and Sue Smith, The Smith Family (you may list your children underneath if you like), Camp Of The Pines, etc.
WOODBURNED PICTURE -
You may choose from any animal, bird, or fish or let me know if you have something in mind.
We will communicate by email until the map is just the way you want it - something you will be proud to display in your home, office, or cottage. Each piece is one of a kind and is signed.
Personalized Woodburned Lake Map on Large Basswood Bark Round
Price: $48.00 plus shipping
Size: variable, but usually about 9 or 10 X 10 to 12 inches.
All woodburned. Color added unless you tell me otherwise.
The bark round may be oriented vertically, like the one shown, or horizontally. I usually decide based on the shape of the lake but if you need it one way or the other, let me know.
Included: The name of the lake and the county and state - Your family name or a saying - 2 pictures of your choice - A directional indicator

 Personalized Woodburned Lake Map on Decorative Canoe Paddle
Price: $80.00 plus shipping
Size: 3 feet long. The blade is 6 in. wide.
All woodburned. Color added unless you request monochrome.
Included: The name of the lake and the county and state - Your "family name" or whatever lettering you want on the shaft of the paddle - one picture of your choice - directional indicator - a small picture on the grip. This small woodburned picture can be anything you want. If you don't know, I can woodburn an appropriate lure for a fish picture, a feather for a bird and a hoof or paw print for an animal.
The paddle can be made with the blade facing right or facing left. It can also be done vertically - the grip at the top and the blade at the bottom. You'll have to let me know. It depends mainly on your wall space. Also note that since the blade is only 6 in. wide, any big body of water will have to be resized to fit that 6 in. I can do it, but just so you know that it will be small.

Size: Priced for 11 X 14 X 1/4 inches. For different size, email me for quote.
All woodburned. Color added unless you request no color. I am showing this item in monochrome (no color) just so you can see what it looks like.
Birch ply is very light in color with a beautiful grain. The map may be oriented vertically, as shown, or horizontally depending on the shape of the lake or your wall space. Let me know if you have a preference. Since plywood comes in sheets, I could also custom cut a piece for your map. Email me for a quote.
I woodburn the edges of the wood so that if not framed, it has a finished look.
I can frame it for you (11 X 14 only) with a simple solid oak frame and glass (no matting) for a charge of $12.00.
